1.  Purchase

An agreement of purchase is entered into effect once Carapax AB confirms the order via an e-mail confirmation. This confirmation is automatically generated from Carapax AB’s database without any manual review. In case of eventual errors regarding stated price, time of delivery etc. we reserve the right to afterwards correct these errors.

Carapax AB only enters into agreements with persons of legal age or if consent if given by the legal guardian.

2. Price

VAT is included in the prices with 25%. The confirmed prices can only be changed due to circumstances that Carapax AB not controls; such as larger raw material price increases, currency changes or changed VAT. Purchases outside the EU are subject to additional cost for customs clearance.

3. Time of delivery

Normal time of delivery is between 1-5 working days after we have received your order, given that the ordered product is in stock. In case the ordered product needs to be ordered from the supplier there might be a longer time of delivery. Notice of any deviations from the normal delivery time or information on the website, will be e-mailed to you withing five business days. You have the right to waive or modify your order.

4. Deliveries

Letter

Gift certificates are sent with the delivery method Letters. The order will then be delivered straight to your mailbox.

DHL Parcel - Consumer

Orders weighing less than 35kg can be ordered with delivery method DHL Parcel. Once your order has arrived at the DHL Service Point (can be a nearby ICA-store or gas station in your area) a notification will be sent to you. There are two ways to get the notification; SMS notification to your mobile phone or via e-mail.

SMS notification: On the same day your package arrives at the DHL Service Point an SMS will be sent to the mobile number you entered. To pick up your order simply bring your mobile phone with the saved SMS alert, and your ID to the designated service point.

E-Mail Notification: Print the e-mail and bring it to the DHL Service Point along with your ID.

DHL Parcel - Company

Orders weighing less than 35kg can be ordered with delivery method DHL Parcel. DHL delivers packages to the company's delivery address. If there is no one on site that can sign for the goods a notification will later be sent to you and the goods can thereafter be picked up at DHL.

Pallet within Sweden

Heavier and larger orders are delivered by delivery method Pallet. Pallet deliveries are to ground floor. Notification will be made by phone prior to delivery for non-business customers. Cost of the pallet will be charged the customer.

Free delivery to Fiskebäck Port / Hönö / Strömstad

This service only applies to a specified date and the exact time is announced some weeks before delivery -  by email, letter or SMS. The goods must be prepaid and the payment shall have been received by Carapax AB before the actual delivery date.

Delay in delivery

If a delivery is delayed we will notify you by email. You, the customer always have the right to cancel the order at significant delivery delays. We will do everything in our power to fulfill your order. There may be circumstances that make it impossible to complete the order, for example, when our supplier or shipper cannot fulfill their commitment to us. We reserve the right to exclude us from any compensation to customers for delivery delays.

Transport risk

We cover the transport risk, ie. the risk that the goods are damaged or lost during shipment from our warehouse to you. You bear the risk in the event the order is returned to us.

Split orders

Would any of the items you ordered have a significantly longer delivery time than other articles, we sometimes split your order. As a customer you'll never pay more than the agreed original shipment.

Order not collected

For orders not collected, we have to charge you 250 SEK for our expenses and the cost of returning the shipment to our warehouse.

5. Shipping costs

Shipping costs are automatically generated and the actual shipping cost is approved by the customer when the order is placed. Shipping charges are also specified in the order confirmation sent out via e-mail. Carapax AB reserves the right for possible miscalculation of shipping costs and we will in the event of this contact you within 5 business days. You have then the right to waive or modify your order.

6. Payment

Carapax AB reports prices include VAT. Charges for shipping and possible invoice charges are as above specified. No other taxes or fees apply for purchases in Sweden.

Refunds

Possible refunds will be made to your bank account, personal account, bank account or debit / credit card. Repayment will be made within 10 working days after which we have received and accepted your return.

You can choose from the following payment options:

Bank / Credit Card

If you have a VISA / MasterCard / Eurocard. Carapax AB is connected to DIBS and payments by credit card are secure and certified. Fill in your card number and date of validity. Carapax AB has no access to or ability to store card details. We use 3D Secure, which is a global security standard that is developed by Visa and MasterCard payments over the Internet. The transfer of money takes place using SSL encryption which means that no unauthorized person can see your card details.

Prepayment

We send out a prepayment invoice within 2 working days and when we’ve received your payment we will send out the goods to the named delivery address.

Invoice

We invoice after approved credit check with no registered payment defaults; by 10 days net payment terms. You pay only once you have gotten the products delivered. To make your purchase as securely as possible, we only deliver to your registered home address.

7. Returns and Exchanges

With us you have 14 days to exchange or return the product, after you have received the goods; money back. This assumes that the item is returned in original packaging with accompanying plastic and packing materials, and is a stocked item. You as a customer pay for the return shipping.

8. Complaints

If there is something wrong with the ordered product or there has been an incorrect dispatch, please contact us immediately and we will do everything to solve the problem as quickly as possible.

9. False orders

Carapax AB reports all fake orders, fraud and attempted fraud to the police.

10. Privacy and Security

When you place your order with us you state your personal data such as name, address, and telephone number. In the event you choose to pay by invoice you must also enter your social security number. In connection with your registration and ordering you agree that we store and use your information in our business to fulfill our commitments to you. We also document all communication we have with you via phone or email. Carapax AB will not disclose your personal information to third parties. Under the Data Protection Act you are entitled to receive the information we have stored about you. If it is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request that information be corrected or removed.
